Ferrari F Zero

A joint effort between Ferrari, Pininfarina and aluminium chassis specialist Alcoa "Ferrari: New Concepts of the Myth" is a design competition for young designers to think what the Ferraris of tomorrow will look like. Students from design schools in Japan, USA, UK, and Italy have produced these designs and these are some of the twenty winners selected by a panel that included Luca di Montezemolo, Jean Todt, Amedeo Felisa, Donato Coco, Massimo Fumarola, and Sergio Pininfarina that will go through to the next round.

A selection of top level international publications ran an additional contest for readers to express their personal choice on each model, collectively reaching over 120,000 votes and appointing "Ferrari F Zero," a project by Jean-Michel Raad (France), Shen Jiang (China) and Leon Dang (China) of Coventry University - School of Art & Design, as the most voted one, with over 10 pct of preferences.
