The first Deisel powered car to win Le Mans. 5.5 Litre V12 turbodiesel
the first diesel car ever to win Le Mans. It took over from the five times winner rail injected petrol engined R8 that won last year. The only other car to win Le Mans since 2000 was a Bentley in 2003 that used the same Audi TFSI engine.
